Twice a year, Progressive High School hosts a blood drive for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Our first drive for this year was held on November 13, 2012. Once again, our drive was a huge success, thanks to our students and staff and our own Nurse Scott. According to blood center, our blood drive results are as follows:
Donors: 84 Whole Blood:40 Double Red Cell: 17 Red Cell Plasma: 9 Total Products: 92 Deferrals: 18
The blood center depends on donor groups such as ours to participate in the Commit for Life group program to supply blood products to the patients in our community. Thanks so much for your efforts!
